Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of its rental properties in Santa Ana, CA. The role covers preventative maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and painting tasks to meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready units for leasing, tracking supplies, and assisting in ground and common-area upkeep. A flexible schedule and on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role requiring basic knowledge of apartment maintenance.
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and appliance repairs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident service requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track inventory, and notify management about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation for service requests to be tracked and filed.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and performing painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools correctly.
