Job summary

Greystar in Phoenix is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance across the property, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and support make-ready tasks for new move-ins, while managing inventory and documenting all actions.

The role involves limited travel within the property, regular inspections, and a focus on cost-saving through repairs when feasible. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ability to diagnose and repair common building systems and fixtures.
• Strong attention to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and repairing per policy.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units including pre-move-in inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory, reorder supplies, and notify maintenance supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; clean and paint as needed.
• Assist in cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing when possible.
• Periodic inspections to identify safety concerns and communicate with management.
