Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our communities clean, safe, and well-maintained in Phoenix. You will diagnose issues, repair systems, and ensure make-ready units meet Greystar quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating vendors, maintaining common areas, and supporting budget goals. A high school diploma and maintenance experience are required, with EPA/HVAC certifications a plus. Excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to represent company management.
• Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication with residents and team.
• Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management; property management system experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills for basic arithmetic and financial documents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Set cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work by staff and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
