Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance professional in Portland to support a multifamily community. You will diagnose issues, complete resident work orders, and ensure safe, high-quality living spaces.

Responsibilities include overseeing make-ready, maintaining grounds and interiors, coordinating contractors, and helping manage supplies with the Community Manager. A High School diploma is required and EPA certifications are preferred for HVAC work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and be proficient with basic tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to read/write and communicate effectively with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues from resident requests.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Maintain community appearance and ensure high Greystar standards.
• Inspect work and ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Manage inventory of supplies and assist with budget planning.
