Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years multi-family experience preferred.
• HVAC/Freon Recovery certification or ability to become certified within six months.
• Training in household repairs, plumbing and mold detection/resolution preferred.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred.
• Must have city/state permits for pool operations or similar where required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders; establish priorities from schedules.
• Repair/replace appliances (garbage disposal, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers).
• Repair/replace plumbing (water lines, fixtures, drains, boiler temps).
• Repair/replace HVAC/electrical components (fans, thermostats, capacitors, Freon).
• Repair apartment materials (carpet, windows, paint, tile, doors).
• Identify and correct hazardous property conditions; secure pool areas and report hazards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units (air filters, lubrication).
• Prepare vacant units for move-in; make-ready repairs and touch-ups; clean up trash.
