Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure indoor/outdoor building and common areas meet safety, cleanliness, and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage the make-ready process for vacant units, coordinating with vendors as needed.

The role requires hands-on trade skills, tool proficiency, and strong customer service to interact with residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; know safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Proficiency with basic internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management; PM system experience preferred.
• EPA certifications Type I/II or Universal for HVAC work when required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the source of defects and perform repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee and complete make-ready processes for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Set cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, amenities, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by others and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools and work with the Community Manager on supplies and budget.
