Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Houston, TX. The role involves maintaining property standards, supervising move-ins, and managing maintenance tasks within approved budgets. Hours may vary and weekends/after-hours emergencies may be required.

You will lead the maintenance team, train staff, schedule tasks, ensure a safe environment, and perform preventive maintenance on pools, parking lots, exteriors, and more. OSHA safety awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience with apartment communities.
• Proven leadership and ability to supervise staff.
• HVAC knowledge and ability to obtain CFC certification within 90 days.
• English proficiency and valid driver’s license.
• 1 year as Maintenance Supervisor or 3 years as Maintenance Tech.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager in hiring, inspecting, counseling, staffing as directed by Regional Manager.
• Teach skills to staff; schedule work.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure common areas are safe, in repair and clean.
• Perform preventive maintenance for pools, parking lots, building exteriors, etc.
• Make capital improvement recommendations and respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Educate staff on safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Visit competing properties to inspect maintenance quality.
• Order parts to repair the community.
