Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee property maintenance, supervise move-ins, and operate within budget. The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, staff leadership, and responsiveness to service requests, with potential weekend hours based on community needs.

The ideal candidate has HVAC knowledge, a plan to obtain CFC certification within 90 days, and a track record in property maintenance or supervision. Valid driver's license and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance knowledge including common apartment systems.
• Ability to lead and communicate with residents and staff.
• Basic HVAC knowledge and plan to obtain CFC certification within 90 days.
• One year in a Maintenance Supervisor role or three years as a Maintenance Tech.
• Valid driver's license and ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Support Community Manager in hiring, inspecting, counseling and staffing decisions.
• Teach skills to staff and schedule work to meet community needs.
• Ensure safe working environment and clean common areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pools, parking lots, exteriors, etc.
• Recommend capital improvements and respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Visit competing properties to inspect maintenance quality and efficiency.
• Order parts and educate staff on safety and OSHA guidelines.
