Job summary

Sandhurst Apartment Management seeks a Maintenance Supervisor in Kansas City, MO to lead on-site maintenance at a distinctive apartment community. The role requires HVAC expertise and the ability to supervise the maintenance team, coordinate vendors, and ensure quality service for residents.

You will manage a broad maintenance program, perform essential repairs, and implement make-ready processes for move-ins, while helping control expenses and maintaining property appearance.

Qualifications

• HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance knowledge.
• Experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate vendors.

Responsibilities

• Promote and teach safe work practices among employees and ensure implementation
• Uphold all company policies, goals, and values
• Properly manage time and resources for timely work completion of entire team
• Oversee and perform on-site maintenance functions
• Implement a quality make-ready program to prepare apartments for move-in
• Assist in achieving the community’s annual budget by controlling expenses
• Maintain physical condition and appearance of the community interiors and exteriors
• Communicate with management on issues outside normal scope
• Participate in ongoing community maintenance and improvement plan
• Follow up on service requests to ensure quality and completion
• Perform other duties as directed
