Job summary

Kittle Property Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Morris, IL to manage curb appeal, perform daily maintenance, and supervise on-site personnel. Responsibilities include inspecting grounds, preparing vacant units, completing maintenance requests, and maintaining common areas and landscaping.

The role requires 1-2 years of experience, a GED or high school diploma, and basic MS Outlook skills; HVAC/EPA certification is a plus. We offer benefits and weekly pay with a boot allowance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and interpret basic instructions and simple correspondence.
• Basic math and reasoning skills; ability to handle numbers and graphs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance expenses to ensure they remain below budget.
• Inspect community grounds every morning.
• Turn and maintenance of vacant units; prepare units for occupancy.
• Complete all maintenance requests promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain landscaping, lawns, trees, and shrubs; perform snow removal.
