Job summary

KW Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work at a residential property in Naples, FL. The role involves routine and preventative maintenance of building systems, interior and exterior, with supervision by the Chief Engineer/ Maintenance Supervisor, and responding to emergencies as required.

Applicants should have at least four years of general building trades experience, basic electrical knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years general experience in building trades or maintenance.
• Basic knowledge handling minor electrical repairs.
• Ability to respond to emergencies within 30 minutes, including after-hours.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trades experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Power washing of roads, streets, sidewalks, monuments and curbs as needed/scheduled.
• Maintains a schedule of maintenance and next service due.
• Ensure safety of self and others; report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain inventory and work order logs.
• Adhere to preventative maintenance program.
• Perform minor maintenance in carpentry, electrical, AC, plumbing, painting, flooring and other repairs without permits.
• Complete forms and work orders in KWPMC system.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Observe safety standards; follow procedures when using equipment.
