Job summary

KW Property Management is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine interior and exterior upkeep at a resident property in Florida. The role involves coordinating vendors for repairs, scheduling services, and responding to emergencies to keep building systems operating reliably.

The position requires at least two years of building trades experience, the ability to work indoors and outdoors, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years general experience in building trades, repair and maintenance.
• Ability to react and address emergencies within 30 minutes (after-hours possible).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Contacts and schedules vendors and contractors for necessary repairs and emergencies beyond routine maintenance.
• Maintain a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.
• Work safely and ensure the safety of oneself and others in the building.
• Maintain an operating environment to achieve residents' service satisfaction.
• Adhere to the preventative maintenance program for the Community.
• Complete work orders using KWPMC system.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Observe safety standards and follow procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Inspect mechanical systems and equipment to ensure proper performance.
