Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in the maintenance processes of a property, including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance. The Porter must support make-ready tasks under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

The role emphasizes daily on-site attendance, customer relations, and adherence to safety and OSHA guidelines, with opportunities to participate in on-call emergencies and maintenance projects across the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance: maintain grounds, buildings, and common areas.
• Respond to resident requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform repairs and replacements to maintain property condition.
• Inspect and address safety hazards daily to minimize liability.
• Assist in preventive maintenance to extend property life.
