Job summary

SoCal Management is seeking a Maintenance Manager in California to oversee the property’s maintenance programs, supervise staff, and coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance. You will ensure curb appeal, manage vendor relationships, and support leasing staff to maintain occupancy goals and resident satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of Yardi, and a focus on safety and compliance, with the ability to manage multiple tasks across common areas, units, and exterior

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3 years’ experience performing the duties of a Maintenance Technician or related field.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean driving record.
• HVAC CFC certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• EPA approved certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the daily activities of the maintenance team.
• Coordinate move-in schedules and unit turns in collaboration with the Community Manager.
• Manage work orders in Yardi; ensure completion within 24–48 hours.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and a clean property environment.
• Provide safety training and participate in safety meetings.
