Job summary

Garden Communities CA is seeking a Maintenance Manager responsible for maintenance, upkeep and repair of grounds and buildings across the Property. You will lead a team of maintenance staff and vendor workers, oversee turnover processes, and coordinate safety, quality, and customer service.

You will partner with Regional Leadership to implement policies, manage budgets and bids, ensure OSHA/ADA/compliance, and mentor staff to deliver reliable service and a positive living environment for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4 years in construction or apartment maintenance work or equivalent experience.
• Prior administrative experience and real estate management desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of maintenance staff and vendor workers to perform maintenance, repairs, and turnover.
• Coordinate weekly schedules and on-call rotations for maintenance staff.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing) in all operations.
• Manage vendor bids and procurement for maintenance and capital improvements.
• Plan, assign, supervise work and provide training and feedback.
• Oversee leasing support, tenant relations, and incident reporting.
• Travel may be required within the Southern California region.
