SoCal Management is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a California community. You will supervise the maintenance team, oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate make-readies and move-ins, and ensure curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

The role partners with the Community Manager to meet occupancy goals. Responsibilities include vendor coordination, safety compliance, and keeping up with preventative maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool areas.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma required.
• 3 years’ experience performing the duties of a Maintenance Technician or related field.
• EPA Certification required within 75 days of hire date.

Aufgaben

• Direct and supervise daily maintenance activities of the property’s maintenance team and apply company policies.
• Coordinate move-in schedules and ensure timely repairs for new residents; complete non-renovated turns in 5 days and renovated turns in 30 days; track all turns in Yardi.
• Perform, schedule, and supervise maintenance repairs across common areas, resident units, and vacant units for new move-ins.
• Work with vendors to coordinate repairs and obtain proposals as needed; ensure quality work.
• Manage open service requests in Yardi; ensure work orders are completed within 24–48 hours.
• Maintain supply inventory and provide safety training to new maintenance staff.
