Job summary

SoCal Management is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the property’s maintenance operations under the Community Manager. You will supervise staff, coordinate make-readies, perform repairs, and manage preventative maintenance, while ensuring Yardi work orders are tracked and completed on time.

You will collaborate with the Community Manager to ensure safety, quality living experiences, and resident satisfaction, including coordinating with vendors and maintaining site cleanliness and curb

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3 years’ experience performing maintenance duties.
• HVAC CFC certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• EPA approved certification preferred.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience with Yardi is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the maintenance team and align with SoCal Management policies.
• Coordinate move-in/move-out schedules and unit turns.
• Perform and supervise repairs; oversee preventative maintenance and vendor work.
• Manage work orders in Yardi; ensure timely completion (24–48 hrs).
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies; monitor safety compliance.
• Support Community Manager to meet occupancy and resident satisfaction goals.
