The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Service Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team and oversee the physical operations of the community, ensuring asset preservation and a quality living environment for residents.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring in-office presence five days a week. Responsibilities include directing maintenance staff and vendors, managing routine and preventive work orders, coordinating inspections, training staff, and ensuring safety standards while

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of multi-family type operational management experience.
• Experience in training, budget development and managing expenses; bid and managing vendors is essential.
• Willingness to get required certifications within 6 months of hiring.

Responsabilités

• Provide direction and supervision to maintenance team members and vendors.
• Manage routine and preventive maintenance work orders and unit turns in a timely manner.
• Provide training to maintenance staff on company policies and safety standards.
• Oversee cleaning, painting, interior/exterior work and repairs.
• Prepare for REAC/HQS inspections and audits.
• Assist in budget discussions and capital project management.
• Manage maintenance shop and inventory with a safety-first mindset.
• Be available for weekend work, on-call rotation and emergencies.
