Job summary

Ahp Management Corp seeks a Community Service Supervisor for our Mechanicsville Family, Atlanta, GA property. You will supervise maintenance technicians, manage repairs, and oversee preventative maintenance and make-readies to preserve property value.

Responsibilities include budgeting with the Community Manager, obtaining competitive pricing, enforcing safety policies, and ensuring timely work orders. A strong knowledge of multiple trades and experience in maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• 3+ years related maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of a variety of skilled trades including construction/installation, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and appliance maintenance.
• Completion of in-house training within the first 90 days of employment.
• Must have own tools and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance technicians and assistants; manage a budget for cost-effective practices.
• Oversee general maintenance, repairs, make-readies, preventative maintenance, and rehab projects for the apartment community.
• Establish emergency maintenance on-call and daily work schedules; report status to Community Manager.
• Enforce safety policies, procedures, and proper use of equipment; maintain safety binder on-site.
• Identify hazards and propose corrective actions; use preventative maintenance to minimize costs.

Education

High School Graduate or GED

Some colleges or trade schools

HVAC/Freon Recovery Certification

CPO (Certified Pool Operator) and EPA Universal certificates

Valid Driver's License
