Job summary

Greystar seeks an experienced maintenance supervisor to ensure the community’s buildings, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar’s high standards. You will diagnose issues, manage make‑ready preparations, and supervise a team of technicians and contractors.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervision in property maintenance, HVAC certification preferred, and a valid driver’s license. Housing discount is available for onsite employees, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• 3-5 years of property maintenance supervision experience required.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law and must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user‑moved aids, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
• Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define and correct problems.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders generated from resident requests for service, diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversees and completes the make‑ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, schedules vendors, orders supplies, and inspects completed work.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, and unit interiors to reflect Greystar standards.
• Regularly inspects work by staff and contractors to ensure quality and adherence to procedures.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and materials; coordinates budget‑conscious purchases with the Community Manager.
• Performs monthly preventative maintenance and supports budget for repairs and capital projects.
