Job summary

Greystar in North Carolina is seeking a property maintenance technician to uphold the community's buildings, grounds, and amenities to Greystar standards. You will diagnose resident requests, perform repairs, and oversee make-ready tasks for vacant units.

You will develop cleanliness standards, inspect work, manage inventories, and support budgeting and safety programs. A high school diploma and maintenance experience are required, with EPA HVAC certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools and use them safely.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to represent company.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications if working on HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Develops cleanliness standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspects work performed by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and coordinates with the Community Manager on supplies.
