Job summary

The Finger Companies is seeking a Porter for Porter Museum Tower in Houston, TX. The Porter will maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the apartment complex, including common areas, hallways, and outdoor spaces, and handle trash removal and light maintenance to keep the property welcoming for residents and guests.

Pay is $18.00/hour with monthly bonuses such as a Closing Occupancy Bonus and a Retention Bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work Saturday mornings.
• Experience in property maintenance or grounds keeping.
• Able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of common areas, including carpet cleaning, replacing light bulbs, trash collection.
• Minor landscaping- leaf blowing and power washing.
• Ensure trash and recycling areas are clean and organized.
• Clean community pool, pool area/grills and other outdoor spaces.
• Address minor repair requests and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Monitor the property for safety hazards and report any issues to the Lead Maintenance.
