Job summary

The Finger Companies are seeking a Porter to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our Houston, TX apartment community. The role covers common areas, outdoor spaces, trash removal, and light maintenance to keep the property inviting for residents and visitors.

You will perform routine tasks in common areas, assist with landscaping, and address basic repair requests while staying attentive to safety and property standards. Availability for alternating weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work alternating weekends.
• Previous experience in property maintenance, grounds keeping, or a related field.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of common areas, including carpet cleaning, replacing light bulbs, trash collection.
• Minor landscaping- leaf blowing and power washing.
• Ensure trash and recycling areas are clean and organized.
• Clean community pool, pool area/grills and other outdoor spaces.
• Address minor repair requests and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Monitor the property for safety hazards and report any issues to the Lead Maintenance.
