Job summary

GHS Development LLC is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to perform general and preventative maintenance across residential and commercial properties. You will lead seasonal grounds care and assist with snow/ice removal, ensuring exterior property appearance stays neat and attractive.

The role involves troubleshooting, basic repairs, and coordinating with other staff and contractors, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in ground and property maintenance or related field.
• Experience operating lawn mowers, weed trimmers, leaf blowers, and similar landscaping equipment.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general property repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and decide if in-house repair is possible.
• Ability to recognize when licensed or specialized contractors are needed.
• Hours are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders for residential and commercial properties in a timely, professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and perform general repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliances, doors, locks, fixtures, etc.
• Lead seasonal grounds maintenance (mowing, edging, weed control, landscaping) and exterior upkeep.
• Assist with snow and ice removal and other winter maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with staff, vendors, and contractors; document work and photos as required.
• Travel between multiple company-owned properties during the workday.
