Job summary

Allied Orion Group is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Houston, TX to support the Community Manager in the full operations of a multifamily property. The role covers leasing, marketing and resident relations, with responsibilities spanning financial tasks and day-to-day on-site supervision.

Your background should include a year of multi-family property management experience, strong customer service, and knowledge of housing standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Knowledge and one year of experience in multi-family property management.
NALP preferred; COS preferred; TCS preferred; HQS preferred; UPCS preferred; LIHTC training preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Community Manager with the overall management of the property, including financial and accounting tasks.
Handle all functions related to multi-family property leasing, marketing and resident relations.
Process payments and track late payments in accordance with policy; send notices and inform Property Manager.
Manage delinquencies, collections, NSF/returned checks, and evictions per policy.
Prepare final account statements and manage move-out files; perform Property Manager duties in absence.
