Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Property Inspector to perform walking inspections at managers’ discretion, maintain logs of inspections and violations, and uphold safety and quality standards for residents. You will engage with owners, vendors, and management to enforce governing documents and resolve issues.

As a full-time exempt associate, you will manage violations, generate letters, and support the community while adhering to FirstService Residential standards and policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a service-related industry.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated experience handling conflict resolution.
• Compliance or construction background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of the community and cite owners for non-compliance.
• Manage the architectural applications, including letters for approvals/denials.
• Read/review plot plans and design plans for compliance.
• Meet with the Architecture Committee regularly to provide updates.
• Correspond/respond to inquiries via email or phone and resolve questions or concerns.
