Job summary

City Property Management is seeking a Community Inspector to conduct inspections of single-family communities, document violations, and communicate with homeowners and team members. About 75% of the work involves traveling between sites, with 25% office-based tasks and mileage reimbursement.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, observant, and able to work independently, following established guidelines and maintaining accurate records in the company software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle and current auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use smartphones/tablets for documentation.
• Ability to follow written inspection standards.
• Willingness to travel within assigned communities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled inspections of assigned single-family communities.
• Identify and document potential violations and observable conditions.
• Meet homeowners on-site to discuss property concerns when required.
• Enter findings into company software promptly and accurately.
• Coordinate with Community Managers regarding unusual conditions.
• Maintain organized records and meet inspection deadlines.
• Follow routes, schedules, and community-specific guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, boards, vendors, and staff.
