Job summary

City Property Management seeks a Community Inspector to perform consistent inspections of assigned single-family communities. You will identify violations, observe conditions, and communicate professionally with homeowners and the team.

The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, and able to work independently, with about 75% travel across communities and 25% office work. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle and insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and communicate well.
• Basic computer skills and photo documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of assigned single-family communities.
• Follow routes, schedules, and guidelines.
• Inspect landscaping, exterior paint, roofs, fencing, and similar conditions.
• Document violations with notes and photos.
• Enter findings into company software promptly.
• Review governing documents before inspections.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns observed.
• Respond to homeowner questions about violations.
• Occasionally meet homeowners on site to discuss concerns.
• Maintain records and meet deadlines.
• Protect confidential information and follow policies.
