Job summary

Duties include painting vacant apartments, removing trash, preparing units for occupancy, and performing preventive maintenance while upholding safety rules. Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Must be willing to perform all required tasks.
• Demonstrated knowledge of work safety habits.
• Able to work on-call and extended hours (including evenings/weekends).
• Ability to interact effectively with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Removes trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.
• Prepares property trash for city pick-up.
• Assists in the preparation of making units ready, including remove trash from vacant apartments prior to make-ready and painting units.
• Performs assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Assists in the cleaning of available apartments and/or models.
• Assists in the troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems.
• Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas.
• Represents the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property.
• Delivers communication documentation to residents.
• Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.
• Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules.
• Paint vacant apartments.
