Job summary

AD West Realty is seeking a Property Porter to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and upkeep of residential apartment communities. You will support the Site Manager and Maintenance team, perform routine cleaning, trash removal, and light grounds tasks, and assist with unit turns to ensure rent-ready units.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and dependable, adaptable work ethic. Driving may be required; travel and safety compliance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in maintenance or a similar role preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining records and work orders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with tenants and the property management team.
• Dependability and adaptability to handle varied tasks and emergencies.
• Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of property common areas.
• Support Site Manager and Maintenance team with day-to-day needs.
• Perform routine cleaning, trash removal, and light grounds maintenance.
• Assist with unit turns and rent-ready prep.
• Communicate maintenance needs and safety concerns to Property Manager.
• Follow safety practices and company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
