Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Porter to maintain grounds, amenities, and building exteriors at our Austin-area property. You will help keep leasing offices and tour paths appealing while ensuring high resident satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, and a focus on cleanliness and safety. Strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to handle weather-related tasks are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Must maintain professionalism and comply with uniform policy.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris daily in office areas and property perimeter.
• Assist in market-ready unit preparation.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings and sidewalks.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow removal, fires, floods).
• Clean apartments and common areas as directed.
• Report maintenance and life-safety issues promptly.
• Maintain curb appeal and professional resident interactions.
