Job summary

Seek Now is seeking capable 1099 independent field inspectors to provide accurate, impartial home and commercial property inspections across the Property Insurance, Facility Management, and Real Estate sectors. You will be on the front line, gathering data for clients, and representing Seek Now’s core values in a team-driven environment.

As a 1099 contractor, you’ll inspect diverse properties, travel as needed, and receive lodging on CAT assignments.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean, reliable vehicle capable of transporting a 32 ft ladder
• Operational laptop and smartphone
• Ability to travel, including during catastrophic events
• Must earn HAAG Certification within 90 days
• State Issued Workers' Compensation
• Certificate of General Liability Insurance
• LLC Articles or Certificate of Organization
• 1099 independent contractor status

Responsibilities

• Inspect steep and high roofs when required
• Sketch and measure roof components
• Document inspections using our smartphone app
• Travel to inspection sites with lodging provided for CAT assignments
• Cover a 100-mile radius around home market
• Complete accurate, impartial reports on time
• Utilize 3D cameras, drones, and moisture meters as needed
