Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager for HMHSS OMC Phase I - Navy in Honolulu, HI. You will support the Maintenance Director to keep the property safe, attractive, and functional through preventive maintenance, inspections, and making units ready for rent.

The role requires 5+ years in building maintenance, 1-3 years of supervisory experience, and knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry. Will drive as needed and ensure safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced training preferred.
• 5+ years in building maintenance; 1-3 years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise maintenance technicians, including hiring and performance management.
• Manage budget and control expenses within approved maintenance budget.
• Schedule, train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance staff.
• Prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and company policies.
• Oversee make-ready of vacant units and property inspections.
• Prepare purchase orders and manage parts and supplies.
• Assist in maintenance across grounds, custodial, preventive, and emergency tasks.
• Drive company or personal vehicle as required (50%+).
