Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to support the Maintenance/Community Director in keeping the property safe, attractive, and comfortable.

You will establish preventive maintenance programs, inspect property and equipment, manage inventory, supervise staff, and assign tasks to keep units and facilities in good order. This role requires driving as needed and strong supervisory and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Advanced training or degree in building maintenance, management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in building maintenance; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises Maintenance Technicians, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Manage the maintenance budget and control expenses within approved guidelines.
• Schedule, train, and supervise maintenance staff and ensure required training.
• Prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure preventive maintenance procedures.
• Prepare Purchase Orders and source parts and supplies.
