Job summary

Drucker + Falk, LLC is seeking a Service Manager/Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the physical upkeep of the community, supervise maintenance staff, and coordinate repairs with the Property Manager. The role manages safety programs and ensures proper documentation of maintenance activities.

The candidate will train staff, maintain equipment, schedule contractors, and ensure compliance with OSHA and site guidelines while striving for high resident satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and SDS standards helpful.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise maintenance staff under his/her direction.
• Hire and terminate employees per Drucker + Falk policy and under Property Manager guidance.
• Counsel staff to improve performance and attitudes; document outcomes.
• Establish schedules and assign routine maintenance tasks.
• Ensure 24/7 maintenance coverage; respond to emergencies as on-call.
