Job summary

Drucker + Falk, Llc is seeking a Service Manager/Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the physical upkeep of the community under the direction of the Property Manager. You will manage maintenance staff, inspect facilities, and ensure safety and compliance across all properties.

The role requires coordinating preventive maintenance, supervising work orders, and maintaining records while keeping residents and staff safe. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• One to three months related experience and/or training may be acceptable.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a CFC certificate.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise maintenance staff under direction of Property Manager.
• Hire and terminate employees per Drucker + Falk policy.
• Schedule and assign routine maintenance tasks; maintain emergency on-call readiness.
• Maintain and oversee safety programs; conduct monthly safety meetings.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Ensure records, manuals, and OSHA-related forms are kept up to date.
• Turn vacant apartments for occupancy following company guidelines.
• Manage budgets and vendor contracts for maintenance work.
