Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, is seeking a Property Desk Adjuster to handle homeowners claims across the New England region with preference for Central or Eastern Time. You will investigate, evaluate, settle, and manage the full lifecycle of each claim, including ALE and contents, while delivering outstanding customer service.

Strong Xactimate skills, a valid adjuster license, and prior desk or field experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Property Desk Adjuster or similar homeowners claims role.
• Active Property & Casualty license or license that qualifies for reciprocity preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Xactimate and residential construction concepts.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate homeowners property claims from start to finish.
• Confirm facts of loss, determine coverage, assess damages and negotiate settlements.
• Manage the entire claim lifecycle, including ALE, contents, and supplements.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, and partners to ensure accurate handling.
• Deliver clear, timely communication and exceptional service throughout the process.
