Job summary

National General is seeking an Inside Property Adjuster to join our Claims team. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from home with occasional in-person inspections to evaluate homeowner property claims.

Prior experience handling residential homeowner claims with proficiency in Xactimate and XactAnalysis is highly preferred. The position involves learning to determine subrogation or fraud potential, reviewing coverage and damages, and negotiating settlements within authority.

Qualifications

• Experience investigating homeowners claims and determining coverage, damages, and subrogation.
• Proficient with Xactimate and XactAnalysis for estimating and claims handling.
• Ability to work remotely with occasional in-person inspections when evaluating homeowner property claims.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and settle most aspects of homeowners first-party claims with independence.
• Partner with fraud or subrogation reps to achieve the best outcome.
• Identify key components of residential construction and repairs to support claims.
