Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, seeks an experienced Field Property Adjuster to lead homeowner claim investigations from start to finish. Located near Hollis Center, ME, with 1-hour radius coverage, you’ll handle supplements, ALE, contents, and full claim ownership while delivering stellar service.

The role requires proficiency in Xactimate, strong organizational skills, and a license or reciprocity eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active adjuster license or reciprocity-eligible license preferred.
• Experience handling field and desk claims.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals to create damages estimates for complex 1st party homeowner losses.
• Builds mastered relationships with internal and external customers.
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities.
• Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types and assists leadership in training.
• Recommends process improvements.
