The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Property Coverage Attorney for its Insurance Coverage practice in Los Angeles, Irvine, or San Francisco. You will handle sophisticated property insurance matters, analyzing policies, drafting opinions, and supporting disputes in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, 3+ years of insurance coverage experience, and strong research, writing and drafting skills.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive experience in insurance coverage matters.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and claim materials, draft coverage opinions and provide strategic recommendations.
• Prepare correspondence for clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Review documents in coverage disputes and litigation.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw.
• Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, and dispositive motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings and mediations.
• Advocate for clients in dispute resolution and support case strategy.
