Our client, a leading international law firm, seeks a Property Coverage Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage practice. You will handle sophisticated property insurance matters, including analysis, litigation, and dispute resolution, in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, 3+ years of insurance coverage experience, and strong research and writing skills. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• JD from top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive insurance coverage experience.
• Experience handling property insurance coverage issues.
• Strong research, writing, and drafting skills.
• Litigation experience including depositions, hearings, and mediations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and claim materials, draft coverage opinions.
• Prepare correspondence for clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Review documents in connection with coverage disputes and litigation.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw.
• Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, and dispositive motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions, participate in hearings and mediations.
• Support case strategy through all phases of litigation.
