The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier school, active bar admission, and 3+ years of property insurance experience with strong research, writing, and drafting skills.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive experience in insurance coverage matters.
• Experience handling property insurance coverage issues, including policy analysis and claims evaluation.
• Strong background in legal research, writing, and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and claim materials; draft coverage opinions.
• Prepare communications for clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Review documents for coverage disputes and litigation.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
• Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, and motions.
• Defend depositions and participate in hearings and mediations.
• Advocate for clients in dispute resolution and support case strategy.
