The ideal candidate will have a JD, bar admission (CA preferred), and proven ability to manage multiple projects with excellent research and writing skills. Hybrid work options are available in this role.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law; California bar admission strongly preferred.
• Experience in insurance coverage.
• Excellent academic credentials or solid work history.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive matters.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects; strong organizational and time management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and claim materials.
• Draft coverage opinions and provide client recommendations.
• Prepare correspondence for colleagues and clients.
• Analyze documents for litigation purposes.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Draft pleadings and briefs.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Attend and advocate at hearings and mediations.
