Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking a Property Condition Assessor and Building Inspector to assist Project Managers with ASTM E2018-24 assessments and related building evaluations. About 50% field work with the remainder in the office compiling technical reports and cost estimates.

Required: an associate or bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, or engineering, a valid driver’s license, ability to pass drug screening, US work authorization, and willingness to interview on-site.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, or engineering discipline
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass drug screening
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to interview on-site at the position location

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of mechanical, structural, civil, and geotechnical engineering principles
• Understanding of building component life cycles, system condition evaluation, and replacement costs
• Familiarity with ADA and Fair Housing Act requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
• Willingness to pursue additional building inspection certifications
• Client relationship management and timely progress updates
• Quality control of technical reports and documentation
• Project planning, scheduling, and adapting to changes
• Risk management and regulatory compliance
