Job summary

BUNNELL LAMMONS ENGINEERING is seeking a Property Condition Assessor and Building Inspector in Columbia, SC. The role supports Project Managers by completing assessments per ASTM E2018-24 and preparing reports with 10-year repair cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, or engineering.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to interview on-site at the position location.

Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical, structural, civil, and geotechnical engineering principles to assessments.
• Evaluate building systems and estimate 10-year repair costs.
• Prepare accurate technical reports with site figures and cost tables.
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM E2018-24 and industry standards.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and team members.
• Support client relationships and timely report delivery.
