Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) invites applications for the Property Condition Assessor and Building Inspector role in the United States. The position supports Project Managers in performing ASTM E2018-24 property condition assessments, evaluating HVAC/MEP, roofing, façade, foundation, and structure, and preparing 10-year cost-repair estimates.

About half the work is done in the field and half in the office, with emphasis on producing accurate technical reports and timely delivery to clients.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, or engineering discipline is required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to interview on-site at the position location.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of mechanical, structural, civil, and geotechnical engineering principles.
• Understanding of building component life cycles, system condition evaluation, and replacement costs.
• Familiarity with ADA and Fair Housing Act requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Willingness to pursue additional building inspection certifications.
