Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff in leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk management to ensure policy compliance and resident satisfaction.

This role requires strong leadership, budgeting and leasing skills, plus knowledge of Fair Housing laws. On-site duties include staff scheduling, resident relations, safety compliance, and timely reporting to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years of experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Basic computer skills required; ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel management, scheduling, training and development of on-site staff.
• Manage financial operations including budgets, deposits, rent collections and reporting.
• Lead strategic leasing with marketing plans, tenancy relations and retention programs.
• Direct administrative and maintenance activities, safety compliance and service request handling.
