Property Community Manager: Lead Leasing & Service

Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Community Manager to provide full oversight of a multifamily property and lead a team of associates. You will mentor staff, supervise leasing activities, and ensure exceptional resident service while aligning with corporate goals.

You will supervise budgeting, vendor compliance and maintenance operations, coordinate marketing efforts, and resolve tenant issues with a professional, solution-focused approach. Travel to properties may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Property/Community Manager state license where required.
• Minimum three years property management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in One Site preferred.
• Experience in affordable housing, Tax Credit, HUD and/or Rural Development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned property end-to-end, supervising and training community associates.
• Evaluate associate performance and conduct annual reviews.
• Counsel underperforming staff and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Screen and select prospective residents according to program rules and set criteria.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns for apartment leasing.
• Manage rent collection and deposits, including security deposits handling.
• Ensure vendor compliance prior to work and monitor on-site activities.
• Participate in annual operating budget preparation with the Regional Manager.
• Maintain landlord-tenant relations and mediate disputes as needed.
• Enter and track maintenance service requests and review reports.
• Conduct move-in inspections and ensure units, grounds and amenities are maintained.
