Job summary

MetroPlains Management, LLC in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Cleaning Technician to perform day-to-day cleaning of the property facilities and grounds. The role includes maintaining common areas, preparing vacant units, and coordinating with property managers.

Responsibilities include cleaning, reporting repairs, and assisting with seasonal tasks. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and independent work ethic. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Walk the grounds, halls, and laundry rooms daily, keeping them free of debris and maintaining the dumpster area.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways and laundry rooms every other day.
• Ensure regular work by service providers (garbage collection, snow plowing, grounds maintenance, and repairs).
• Perform seasonal tasks: shovel snow, use snow blower, rake leaves, pull weeds, pick up litter, sweep sidewalks, and clean trash enclosures as needed.
• Clean storage areas.
• Replace burned-out light bulbs and clean fixtures.
• Check smoke detectors and fire extinguishers annually, coordinating with managers.
• Prepare vacant units for rental, ensuring cleanliness and good repair.
• Report needed repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
