Equity Real Estate Management in Rapid City, SD is seeking a property maintenance professional to ensure buildings, grounds and equipment remain safe and attractive. You will inspect, repair, and streamline unit make-readies in line with policy while coordinating with contractors and vendors.

The role involves handling emergencies, maintaining safety standards, managing supplies, and participating in training sessions to support reliable, customer-focused service across our multifamily portfolio.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the property, buildings and equipment in safe, attractive condition per policies.
• Organize, prioritize and complete unit make-readies, service requests and maintenance tasks promptly.
• Supervise and ensure satisfactory performance of contractors and vendors.
• Ensure grounds, buildings and units are functional, safe and attractive; perform regular inspections.
• Address emergencies such as sewer backups, flooding or defective lighting; notify Property Manager promptly.
• Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and report hazards with corrective actions.
• Maintain inventories of supplies and equipment; approvals required from Property Manager to reorder.
• Label hazardous materials and maintain Safety Data Sheets and related records.
• Assist with disturbances and other property emergencies during business hours.
• Attend meetings, trainings and safety/industry seminars.
